The Career of a Nuclear Physicist: Mu Young Lee, PhD, JE '92

Join us for a conversation with Mu Young Lee, PhD, JE '92. During this time, Mu will share learnings and advice from the course of his career, and host an informal Q and A with fellow Yalies. If you are looking for inspiration in your own career, or if you just want to connect with fellow alumni, you will not want to miss this event.
Mu's career launched in a series of unexpected ways after receiving his PhD in Nuclear Physics.  From teaching astronomy to students who were first in their families to go to college, to searching for terrorist weapons of mass destruction, Mu has navigated a career path that is truly unique. He has designed medical robots to perform bloodless surgery and is part of leading the fight against cancer affecting citizens in low income countries. In his role now, Mu leads a team across 8 countries who are using artificial intelligence to help doctors spend less time on the computer and more time with their patients.  Throughout his career journey, Mu credits his education from Yale as his compass.

We look forward to hearing about Mu's journey and words of wisdom to fellow Yalies. Register here to attend. Meeting information will be sent to registered attendees.
