Virtual Salon: Book Discussion - "How To Be An Antiracist" by Ibram X. Kendi - SOLD OUT!

As Elis, we have an opportunity to use our platform and voices to shape our community, including how we can show up as inclusive leaders in our society. Please join us for a virtual book club salon to discuss the latest works of American scholar Ibram X.  Kendi’s book entitled How To Be An Antiracist.

For those looking for more context about the topic, the book is described as the following: "Dr. Kendi's concept of antiracism re-energizes and reshapes the conversation about racial justice in America. Instead of working with the policies and system we have in place, Kendi asks us to think about what an antiracist society might look like, and how we can play an active role in building it."

During the salon, we will use a series of discussion questions to facilitate a conversation on systemic racism and how we can play an active role in building an antiracist society. If you do not own the book, please consider purchasing one from your local bookstore if it is open.
